BONGJIN CHON
PRINCIPAL associate CHIROPRACTOR
B.Chem eng(PNU), M.G Econ(Yonsei) B.CHIR.SC (MACQ), M.CHIRO (MACQ)
Bongjin combines 4 years of clinical experience with 8 years of Anatomy Teaching at Macquarie University. This background gives him a detailed understanding of how muscles, joints and the nervous system work together, and how problems in one area may affect movement and function elsewhere in the body.
His approach goes beyond simply treating the area that hurts. Bongjin takes the time to understand each patient’s symptoms, movement patterns and goals before developing an individual treatment plan. He also places a strong emphasis on clear explanations, helping patients understand what may be contributing to their condition and what they can do to support their recovery.
Bongjin treats a broad range of Musculoskeletal conditions, including Neck and Back pain, Shoulder and Joint problems, and Sports-related injuries. He has a particular clinical interest in Headaches and Migraines where the neck, posture or surrounding musculoskeletal structures may be contributing to symptoms.
Treatment may include Chiropractic Adjustments, Soft Tissue Therapy, Dry Needling. For patients seeking a gentler option, Bongjin also offers Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), a low-force approach that can be adapted to individual needs and preferences.
Bongjin’s goal is not to provide the same treatment to every patient, but to deliver thoughtful, anatomy-informed care based on a thorough assessment, clear communication and the needs of the individual.
